Custers was founded in 1901 and in the first half of the 20th century it was mainly active as a provider of metal structures for the construction & aviation industry.

From the 1960s, we started developing and manufacturing aerial work platforms, and from 1980 we are also producing a wide range of aluminium mobile scaffolds. Since 1988, we started supplying customised aluminium scaffolding stagings to the civil and military aviation industry in the Netherlands and abroad.

So, Custers offers custom-build high-end access solutions in aluminium and steel for safe and efficient work-activities at height. All our activities are based on our key-values: Reliability, Innovation and Quality. SAFE ACCESS is the corporate and well-known description of our portfolio.

The combination of our in-house engineering & production, as well as specialized & experienced certified welders for steel and aluminium, results in a wide-ranged, universal and bespoke access solutions.

Our program includes products like aircraft maintenance docks, paintdocks, access stairs, working stands, work platforms, special aluminium scaffolds, tailor-made aerial work platforms (e.g. truck-mounted scissortlifts), GSE and other customized access equipment for the civil and military aviation industry.

We are proud to serve OEMS, airliners with their own maintenance workshops , independent MRO-companies, aircraft paint companies and defense organisations.
