Standards & Certification

Custers Hydraulica stands for safe and reliable products of high quality. Our aluminium scaffolding and customized solutions for safe work at height in the (aviation) industry comply with the European Standards. National safety regulations are also incorporated into our designs.

Our specially designed elevating work platforms and scaffolding with powered movement or height adjustment comply with the relevant European standards, such as:

  • EN1915: Aircraft ground support equipment – General requirements
  • EN12312-8: Aircraft ground support equipment – Specific requirements – Maintenance or service stairs and platforms
  • EN280: Mobile elevating work platforms
  • EN15746: Railway applications – Track – Road-rail machines and associated equipment
  • Machinery Directive 2023/1230

These standards are also used as guidelines for comparable non-powered products for which no specific standards have been defined.

For fixed or temporary access to machines and workplaces within an industrial environment, the EN14122 (Safety of machinery – Permanent means of access to machinery) and EN12811 (Temporary works equipment) are followed.

In order to guarantee the quality of our products and business processes, we are regularly assessed and certified. We are also a member of various trade associations.
