Engine stand Gulfstream G650

This stand for access to the Gulfstream engines is designed to apply the engine-covers. To keep the stand as compact as possible, a step ladder access was chosen. The stand can be used on both sides of the aircraft.

The stand is constructed with a well-coated steel base frame topped by an untreated aluminium structure and aluminium slatted floors.

Grid floors were chosen because, in principle, the stand is set up outdoors and so precipitation in the form of rain, snow or hail is well-drained and the wind load is reduced.

The swivel castors are fitted with a lift system with operating lever that lifts the entire undercarriage onto the platform in one move and prevents the stand from being moved again.
