The maintenance dock for a AW101 (EH101) with a fixed platform-height consists of a LH and RH long and shorter platform, which can be connected, and are access by means of stairway. The long platform is equipped with 3 flaps in order to facilitate entrance to cargodoor-opening. In addition, there is another trapdoor to provide an easy access to the primary hoist. This primary hoist-trapdoor can be completely dismantled and can be hung on the guardrail.
The short platform is equipped with 2 trapdoors. One trapdoor is used to do maintenance to the rotor-blades and the other one is used to get an easy access to the secondary hoist. The rotor-blade trapdoor can be opened till 90° and in this position it can be locked, which also prevents the operator / any tools & equipment to fall down into the opening of the trapdoor. The secondary hoist-trapdoor can be completely dismantled and can be hung on the guardrail.
This dock has a FOD-free design, it is fitted with protective rubbers where necessary and is suited for inside and outside use.
