The custom-built, FOD-free maintenance stand for the Cougar / Super Puma provides quick, safe, and user-friendly access to most relevant parts of the helicopter. It consists of four mobile sections that can be used together or as stand-alone units:
Left & Right Fuselage Platforms: Designed to facilitate maintenance on the rotor blades.
Left & Right Tail Platforms: Designed for maintenance on the tail and rotor blades.
Each section ensures a perfect fit around the helicopter and features wide platforms, enabling personnel to pass each other easily. For safe mobility, all units are equipped with braked castor wheels and protective rubbers where necessary. Every section is accessible via a stairway, with an additional stair installed to access the upper level of the tail platforms.
